If the number you wish to transfer to Circles.Life is not under your own name, we will assist with a transfer of ownership. Simply select the option to transfer your number during sign-up/activation. Once you receive the SIM card, insert it into your device and log in to the Circles.Life app using the assigned temporary number (more details on the temporary number here).
Once you're logged in, you can easily proceed with the ownership transfer from within the Circles.Life app.
Before you request to transfer your number to Circles.Life, ensure that it:
- Is a post-paid number (prepaid numbers cannot be transferred).
- Is active with your current telco (suspended or inactive numbers cannot be transferred).
- Has no outstanding balance with your current telco.
- Does not need to change and registered under your own NRIC/ID with your current telco, as you'll be transferring ownership with us.
Before you request to transfer your number to Circles.Life, you'll need to make sure that it:

Here's how to initiate the transfer of ownership in the Circles.Life app:
Once you're logged in to the Circles.Life app, here's how to initiate the transfer of your number with a transfer of ownership:
After receiving your SIM card:
Step 1: Open the Circles.Life app > Profile > Account > Port-in number
Step 2: Fill the fields to complete your transfer request
The transfer process will be initiated on the night of the date you choose under 'date of porting'.
Tick "No" when asked, “Registered with the donor telco under your own NRIC/ID?" and proceed to enter your NRIC/ID and upload your signature. This step is to change the ownership to the person whose NRIC/ID you provide.
Once this is done, you’ll need to upload the NRIC/ID details of the current owner (e.g., if your number is registered under your mother’s name, use her NRIC/ID along with her signature). This information must match the records with your current telco for the transfer to succeed.
If your number is registered under your company, you should fill in the registered owner's details as follows:
- ‘Full name of registered owner’: Your company’s name
- NRIC/ID of registered owner’: Your company’s BRN (Business Registration Number)
- ‘Photo of registered owner’s NRIC/ID’: Fill in and upload the Transfer of Mobile Number Ownership Form for both ‘Front’ and ‘Back’. See attached PDF file below of this article.
Step 3: Click "Next" and confirm your request by entering your NRIC/ID.
Step 4: Sit back and relax! We'll notify you via email and in the Circles.Life app once the process is initiated and completed. The transfer's completion time depends on your previous telco.
