Have you just subscribed to 5G but having issues? Your device network/data settings may need an update!
Step 1: Make sure that your device is on the latest OS version.
Step 2: Set your network preference to 5G by following the path below. (The steps may vary a little depending on your device model)
Android Devices in General
Phone Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Preferred Network type > Select the option that has 5G listed. Eg. 2G/3G/4G/5G (auto connect).
Samsung Devices
Phone Settings > Connections > Mobile Network > Network Mode > Select the option that has 5G listed. Eg. 2G/3G/4G/5G (auto connect).
Google Pixel Devices
Phone Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Preferred network type > Select the option that has 5G listed. Eg. 2G/3G/4G/5G (auto connect).
In case you would like to use 4G predominantly while still being subscribed to 5G, you can set your preferred network to an option that doesn't have 5G listed.
