We’re introducing a new feature that lets you block incoming overseas calls and SMS—giving you more control and protection against scams. You can manage this setting easily through the app or when purchasing a plan. Stay safe and scam-free with this added security option!
1. When will this feature be available to users?
This feature will be available from 14 March 2025.
2. I’m a new user. How do I block incoming overseas calls or SMS?
By default, all users will have “Allow incoming overseas calls” and “Allow incoming overseas SMS” set to ‘Yes’ (as seen in the image above), meaning they can receive international calls and SMS.
With this feature implemented, new users can amend this setting during the SIM activation stage. After successfully purchasing a plan, users will be directed to the SIM activation page, where they can choose ‘No’ for these options.
Changes will take effect within 24 hours. Additionally, a customer will receive a confirmation email after changes have been applied.
3. I’m an existing user. How do I block incoming overseas calls or SMS?
You can easily do this via the Manage Order page.
- Once logged in, simply click on “Manage Incoming Overseas Calls/SMS”.
- You will prompted to key in your OTP
- From here, users can amend their settings. Press “Confirm” to finalise changes.
- Success!
The changes will take effect within 24 hours, and the customer will receive a confirmation email once they are applied.
4. What happens if I select “No” for the option to allow incoming overseas calls / SMS?
If you choose "No," you will NOT receive any overseas calls or SMS, including from family members. Please select this option carefully.
