Have you just subscribed to 5G but are unable to access it? Your device network/data settings may need an update!
On iPhones:
Step 1: Make sure that your iPhone 13/14 series phone is on the latest software.
Step 2: Turn on 5G on your iPhone 13/14 series using these steps:
Depending on your OS version, you may follow the steps below:
Open “Settings” > "Mobile Data" > "Mobile Data Options" > "Voice & Data" > Tap on "5G On" and "5G Standalone"
OR
"Settings" > "Mobile Data" > Select the SIM you are using > "Voice & Data" > Tap on "5G On" and "5G Standalone".

On Android phones:
Step 1: Make sure that your device is on the latest OS version.
Step 2: Set your network preference to 5G by following the path below. (The steps may vary a little depending on your device model)
Android Devices in General
Phone Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Preferred Network type > Select the option that has 5G listed alongside other network types such as 2G/3G/4G LTE.
Samsung Devices
Phone Settings > Connections > Mobile Network > Network Mode > Select the option that has 5G listed alongside other network types such as 2G/3G/4G LTE.
Google Pixel Devices
Phone Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Preferred network type > Select the option that has 5G listed alongside other network types such as 2G/3G/4G LTE.
In case you would like to use 4G predominantly while still being subscribed to 5G, you can set your preferred network to an option that doesn't have 5G listed.
